LAMP TECHNOLOGY
Elcon nir infrared lamp with magnified detail

Visible Light NIR Infrared Lamp

NIR lamps use a tungsten filament to produce short-wave infrared heat. The BH, RCH, GLASS IR and BTH / RCTH model tables specify a wavelength of 1.0 µm and a filament temperature of 2600 °C. A gold optical coating reduces visible glare. These series provide focused radiant heat for outdoor and larger spaces.

LAMP TECHNOLOGY
Elcon golden infrared lamp with magnified detail

Golden IR Infrared Lamp

Golden IR lamps use a halogen-filled quartz tube with a tungsten filament. The ERT / EIR, EIR-RC, EIR-TH and Table model tables specify a wavelength of 1.2 µm and a filament temperature of 2200 °C. The gold optical coating reduces visible glare. Compare power, controls and mounting options for your application.

USED IN THIS SERIES

Carbon Fiber IR

Carbon IR lamps use a woven carbon filament inside a quartz tube and emit a warm amber light. Elcon CW and STC use Carbon IR technology. Wavelength, power and control options depend on the selected model; use its configuration table when comparing specifications.

ARH HEATING ELEMENT

Long-wave radiant heating element

The ARH series uses stainless steel–nickel alloy heating elements and long-wave heating technology. The anodized aluminum panel provides a discreet heating format for homes and offices. This is a metal heating element rather than a quartz infrared lamp.
