Infrared heating for sports halls

Plan radiant heating for large sports spaces with separate playing, training and spectator areas.

Indoor sports hall with a marked playing court

Plan your installation

Consider ceiling height, the areas in use and the timing of activities together. Our team can help compare industrial Elcon configurations and control zones for the proposed installation.

Include hall dimensions, mounting height, activity zones and the hours the space is occupied.

A separate spectator or rest zone

Within an 18 × 30 m sports hall, this example considers a 6 × 10 m spectator or rest zone. The playing court is outside the proposed heating zone.

A starting point for your project. Catalogue area is a reference value. Air temperature, wind, insulation and mounting affect the required output. This is a starting point for an enquiry, not a heat-loss calculation or a guarantee of comfort.

Positions are illustrative. Quantity, aiming, spacing and installation clearances must be confirmed for the actual site. Connected load is the sum of rated powers, not daily energy consumption.
